Singing in the rain

The weather is officially crazy.  We've entered the rainy season, which means lots and lots of rain.  It doesn't drizzle here, it pours.  We went from 32°C (89.6°F) and really humid on Saturday to 20°C (68°F) on Sunday with rain.  While I appreciate the break from the humidity and my garden appreciates the water, it is seriously wet outside.

We walked to my son's school this morning with rain boots, rain pants, rain coat, and an umbrella.  He, of course, loved the ability to stomp in puddles.

Many parents arrived with kids in rain suits and umbrellas.  Other parents rode their bikes with their kids in seats on the front or back of their bikes, most wrapped in special plastic covers.

When I first saw the extreme visors, I laughed.  The ponchos built for bikes are also quite funny to see.  But they get the job done, helping people get from point A to point B without getting soaked.

Sorry for the blurry photo, but the visors are awesomely huge!
Would you wear this visor?  Photo courtesy of: pinterest.com

While I have invested in poncho for bike riding, I have yet to venture into the visors.  I just can't bring myself to do it.
