A full shopping cart

When I go to Costco in Japan, I go with friends.  It is over an hour away and I don't have a car.  I am, however, the possessor of the almighty card.  Although there are only 3 of us that actually travel there, we do take along a list of things other park moms have requested.

List in hand, we head in!  It is always fun to explore.  I see so many familiar things, and so many unusual things, too!  This trip we brought a friend from New Zealand who had never been to Costco before.  It was really fun watching her look everywhere in awe.  Although I always get a thrill when I go there, it isn't the same thing as going for your very first time.

Here are a couple shots from our fun shopping trip.

Only $540 for a cotton candy machine?
Costco really does sell everything!
They even have a special assortment of Kit Kats
I restrained myself even though I didn't want to!
The filled cakes freak me out!
A whole different kind of fish sticks.
These are dried, long strips of spicy fish.
Just like in the states, there is a lot of jerky options.
All done shopping!  It was a success.
So many fun things to take home.

My favorite purchases on this visit were: asparagus, apples (from Washington state), washable finger paints for my son, new pillows for our guests, tortilla chips (so hard to find here), bagels (also hard to find in Japan), hummus, and a huge box of organic salad greens!  We didn't come home with a cotton candy machine.  Oh, Costco, you bring me such simple joy.
