Vending machines - Part 1

Everyone knows that Japan is the vending machine capitol of the world.  The machines are everywhere!  And they provide so many amazing things.  There is no end to the entertainment of vending machines.

I grew up with simple vending machines.  Chips, candy bars, gum, and soda.  That's it.  It did get more interesting a couple of times when I saw sandwiches in a vending machine.  It had these cool little sliding doors that just intrigued my 12 year old self.  But mostly it was just the same old thing that my mom always said no to.  To me, I automatically think vending machines equal junk food.  But here, things are different.

There are vending machines with cut up fruit.

If you need a glass of milk, there's a vending machine that can help you quench your thirst.  You have the choice between coffee milk, fruit-flavored milk, and plain!

I've seen several vegetable vending machines right next to farms.  Peppers, carrots, cabbage, and more.  I got quiet a chuckle out of seeing eggs!

This one threw me for a loop - fish broth!

Did you forget your towel?  No worries!

And, lastly, on a cold day, there's nothing better than a little bit of hot soup.
